The Kemano Community Chapel had been an outreach project of the ministry of
Christ Church Anglican and the other participating churches in Kitimat.
Pastors from the churches in Kitimat visited the community regularly,
performing services, baptisms, marriages and spiritual guidances.
The community was shut down in July, 2000.
The Chapel, however, was one of the buildings being preserved.
